On September 29, 2012 Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County will host An Evening for Kids’ Sake-Space Odyssey. The event will be at The Fuge, located at the former Johnsville Naval Air Station, where U.S. astronauts were trained until 2005. The Evening will include delectable samplings from local restaurants, caterers, wineries and breweries and dancing. Guests will have the opportunity to sit and have their photo taken inside the Centrifuge, the simulator that the astronauts, including John Glenn, trained in. A Silent Auction as well as a Live Auction of a Once in a Lifetime Experience will also take place.
